Francis Week Kicks Off At SBU

Francis Week is underway at St. Bonaventure University. Events take place on campus each day during the week, eventually leading up to the Feast of St. Francis on Friday, Oct. 4, beginning at 4 p.m.

Activities include:

Monday

– "Hunger and Resilience" exhibition walk-through at 12:30 p.m. at the Quick Center

– Outdoor scavenger hunt (all day)

Tuesday

– Screening of Sustainability in the Food Cycle: It's Complicated at 5 p.m.

Wednesday

– Sustainability table in the Hickey Dining Hall from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Thursday

– Transitus at the University Chapel

Friday

– Blessing of the pets at 1:30 p.m.

– Feast Day Mass followed by a special dinner in the Hickey Dining Hall, all beginning at 4 p.m.
